Vehicle Defense

Vehicle Defense How much of your life do you spend in a vehicle? If you are a commuting citizen, quite a bit. If you are an active law enforcement officer, about 3/4 of your career is spent in a vehicle. The Vehicle Defense Course is designed to train the student in life saving skills and tactics in, on and around vehicles. This course focuses on defensive shooting from and around the vehicle and an extensive vehicle ballistics lab. Also covered will be best practices for deploying your weapon, using a vehicle as cover or concealment, and extensive use of unconventional firing positions. When possible a ballistics lab will be conducted depending on range regulations.

Duration: 1 days

Prerequisites: Pistol I or equivalent course from respected training provider.

Equipment Needed:

  • Defensive firearm
  • 300-500 rounds of ammunition
  • Holster
  • Cover garment
  • Pen and notebook
  • Knee and elbow pads
  • Eye and ear protection
  • Adequate personal water supply
  • Sack lunch and snack food (We do not leave the range for lunch)
