Duty Handgun w/ 3 mags and duty belt
200 rounds handgun ammunition
Rifle w/ sling and 3-4 magazines
400 rounds rifle ammunition
High intensity duty flashlight and backup
Medical equipment    *Minimum 2 packs of Kerlix, 2 rolls of Coflex and tourniquet
3 chem-lights / cylume sticks
Bag for rifle magazines and medical equipment w/ shoulder strap
Duty body armor
Pen and note pad (small enough for pocket carry)
Water
Snacks
Lunch (we will not be taking lunch breaks long enough to leave for food)
Clothing or uniforms appropriate to the weather conditions

Active Shooter Response - Michigan MCOLES

Students completing this course will receive operational knowledge and scenario based experience in implementation of the Active Shooter Response Cycle, including response planning and pre-incident preparation; notification, response and movement to the breach; movement to the threat; threat neutralization; follow-on element coordination; and consolidation, scene security and medical treatment.
